Description

The Foundation was founded in 1924 to help integrate people with disabilities into all aspects of American life. Founder Jeremiah Milbank was an ardent champion of individual liberty, limited government, and free markets. The Foundation’s current priorities are supporting education and research that fosters market-based policy solutions especially at state think tanks; developing state and national organizations that promote free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and private initiative; and identifying and educating young leaders. The Foundation accepts letters of inquiry via regular mail only. The board of directors meets bi-annually usually in May and October. There are no formal proposal deadlines. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
