The Grammy Foundation

The Foundation, with funding from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, offers support for research as well as archiving and preservation projects. Research projects should advance original research and implementation of projects related to music, such as teaching methodology in early childhood; the impact of music study on human development; and the medical and occupational well-being of music professionals. Archiving and preservation projects funded include the preservation of original, pre-existing media and source material; preservation projects that follow the foundationís recommended methodology; projects of historical, artistic, cultural, and/or national significance; and archiving projects that rescue, organize, and bring access to pre-existing media and materials. Application forms and guidelines are available on the Web site.
