Description

The Foundation exists to glorify God by supporting Christian charitable organizations that effectively build God’s Kingdom. Built upon the Holy Scripture (John 15:5), the Foundation’s mission is to promote Christianity and the building of God’s Kingdom through partnerships with organizations that have the same beliefs and overt expression of Christian faith through their programs. Areas of funding include transforming and strengthening pastoral couples, evangelical ministries for youth and teens, and strengthening and saving marriages. The Foundation prefers to fund organizations that work on a local, regional, or national level with special interest in Southeastern Wisconsin and Southwestern Florida. Organizations that are headquartered outside these regions but bring programming or impact to the states, or desire to do so, will also be considered. Characteristics of ideal Foundation grantees include a clear vision, entrepreneurism, capacity building, scalability, innovation, accountability, effectiveness, sustainability, and key insight into why their programs work. Internationally oriented organizations will rarely be considered. The board usually meets two or three times a year and the Foundation asks prospective applicants to call for deadlines. Additional information including an eligibility quiz is available on the Web site.
