Description

The Foundation’s purpose is to enhance, preserve, and protect the transcendent and permanent values of civilization and our temporary society through the support of the humanities. It concentrates its grantmaking on the field of humanities. Of particular interest are history, literature, religion, and philosophy. The Foundation’s objective is to support institutions and projects that are calculated to uphold or carry on the traditions of society. Organizations that reflect a concern for historical continuity and produce studies of a traditional nature are encouraged to apply. No grants are made to individuals nor does the Foundation consider requests for general building purposes. There are no applications. Applicants are asked to send a one-page, typewritten letter addressed to Gary R. Ricks, the Foundation president, between September 1 and December 31.
