DescriptionThe Foundation only supports organizations who wholeheartedly embrace the principle of equality. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking at artistic, educational, and cultural programs. They are strongly committed to programs and organizations that benefit, encourage, and preserve the rights of individuals and promote equality for the gay and lesbian community. The Foundation strives to build community and understanding by supporting local and national institutions. Funding is awarded for general operating support, project support, specific projects, advocacy, and capacity building. Primary grantmaking is targeted toward organizations in the Intermountain West region of the United States, specifically Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, but the Foundation also funds projects of national scope and/or impact from across the United States. It will also consider film productions, scholarship projects, and capital projects. Additional information is available on the Web site.
