DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the evolution of communities and cultures that honor the unity at the heart of life’s rich diversity. Through its grantmaking the Foundation seeks to strengthen a collective recognition of the oneness of humanity. The Foundation was founded to support a cultural shift to ways of living that celebrate life’s extraordinary diversity, yet are rooted in the recognition of life’s sacred unity. The Foundation supports projects that contribute to a growing awareness of what unifies, rather than divides, all people. It supports the work of people committed to holistic personal, community, and planetary transformation and healing based on the recognition that we are at the core, one humanity, expressing itself through myriad ways and forms. The Foundation’s grants programs include the following: fostering a global consciousness of oneness, indigenous cultures, nurturing the inner life, and special projects. Under the fostering a global consciousness of oneness, the Foundation supports projects inspired to create and express an emerging consciousness of oneness across many different fields. These fields include, but are not limited to, arts and culture, Earth literacy and new science, mentorship and education, new media, philanthropy, social and cultural healing, economics, and reintroduction of values associated with the feminine. The Foundation is also interested in wisdom teachings from different traditions that can bring this awareness into the fabric of everyday life. Indigenous culture grants support projects or initiatives that are substantially managed from within Native communities. These projects should protect, strengthen, and encourage the flourishing of indigenous peoples, their culture, and worldview. Support also includes direct grants for work that bridges the teachings and wisdom of indigenous cultures with the challenges faced in our current planetary crisis. Nurturing the inner life grants support projects that work with people in ways that promote not only positive change but holistic transformation, through which individuals can touch or return to their essential nature. Projects that create communities characterized by healing, creativity, and sensitivity are of particular interest. Under special projects, the Foundation is currently funding the Global Oneness Project, an online video inquiry that emerged from a desire to learn how oneness is understood and lived by different kinds of people from around the world.
