DescriptionThe Foundation is devoted to the promotion and support of Islamic culture and Persian language, literature, and civilization. The Foundation strives to meet its mission by targeting its grantmaking to the following eight areas: grants to colleges and universities; donations to Persian schools; donations and loans to Islamic organizations; free distribution of Islamic books; donations for disaster relief; support of the arts; student loans; and scholarly research. The student loan program is currently inactive. Of particular interest are organizations that promote interfaith harmony and those that teach Islamic studies and Persian language, literature, and civilization. There are no application forms or deadlines. Additional information is available on the Web site.
