Description

The Organization awards grants to United States nonprofits in its areas of interest. Funded areas are the study and treatment of dyslexia, higher education, medicine, projects relating to Spain, the improvement of the administration of justice, and the protection of the environment. The Organization will not award funds to nonprofits that in policy or practice unfairly discriminate against race, age, creed, or sex. The Organization does not support building funds, other capital assets, or conferences. The board of trustees generally meets to consider award applications on or around the second Tuesday in June and the first Tuesday in December. Applications must be received at least four week before the meeting at which they will be considered.
