DescriptionThe Foundation, created in 1994 by Saul Kaplan, makes grants to qualifying charitable organizations for programs and activities in two areas: the care and support for individuals with HIV, and services to the gay and lesbian community that promote and support the community’s formation, growth, identity, general well being, and social and legal rights. The Foundation provides grants for new and ongoing programs and projects, general operational and administrative support, capital and building campaigns, and other unique and creative projects. The Foundation does not consider uninvited proposals. An online, introductory information form is found on the Web site.
