DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on education, arts/culture, women’s issues, HIV/AIDS, and programs that assist youth and minorities. Applicants seeking funding for programs or projects that directly benefit one or more of these areas of strategic focus should indicate that clearly in the letter of inquiry. Letters of inquiry are the first step and should be sent to a contributions contact for a particular geographic area. The contacts are found on the Web site. If invited to apply, the contact will give the applicant a password to the online application. Trustees meet an average of four times a year to review requests for funding.
