DescriptionThe Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the publishing company, awards grants to organizations that serve the blind and visually impaired. Large multi-year grants and smaller one-year grants are given to organizations that work on the local level. Decisions on multi-year grants, which can be put to $1 million, are made every three years. Smaller grants are awarded annually. Write for detailed information on the grants programs.
