DescriptionThe Corporation is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurial programs for veterans, service-disabled veterans, and members of the National Guard and reserve nationwide. It provides veterans with the tools and resources they need to be successful in business including access to capital, access to bonding, entrepreneurial education, business mentoring, and business resources and tools. The Corporation’s Development grant program supports educational and outreach organizations who are offering business resources and support to veterans starting or growing a small business. Under the education category, programs of interest include transition preparation and classroom programs designed to deliver entrepreneurial educational courses. Under the outreach category, programs of interest include business start-up/growth counseling, professional seminars/workshops, teaming/mentoring, and transition assistance. The maximum grant is $50,000. Additional information is available on the Web site.
