DescriptionThe Foundation supports discrete projects that seek to transform lives in marginalized communities through education, communication, and the provision of information to underserved people. The Foundation has two topics of funding interest: training and education for development and publishing for development. The Foundation supports education across the developmental spectrum, as well as culturally relevant teaching in local languages. It also emphasizes indigenous creativity and publications written for local audiences. It welcomes applications from all denominations. The Foundation also expects all applications to reflect the involvement of local people in the project design and implementation. The Foundation has supported organizations based in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Middle East.
