DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of MDU Resources Group, a company that provides value-added natural resource products and related services essential to energy and transportation infrastructure. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on health and human services, education, civic and community activities, culture and art, and the environment. Primary consideration is given to institutions, organizations, and programs within the geographic areas where member companies conduct business. The Foundation also supports national health and human services organizations, public radio and television, museums, theaters, and organizations promoting the wise use of resources without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Organizations can obtain a grant request form by writing to the address below. All requests for funds must be in writing and must include a completed grant request form, a cover letter, and a copy of the IRS determination letter.
