DescriptionThe Foundation supports innovative programs in Jewish schools, agencies, community organizations, and other institutional settings. These grants enable creative Jewish educators to develop and implement outstanding approaches to Jewish education that are potentially replicable in other settings. All institutions, agencies, and organizations actively involved in transmitting Jewish heritage in the United States and Canada are eligible to apply. A maximum of 10 grants are awarded annually. The Foundation only funds programming in North America. Israeli-based organizations with American branches may be eligible for funding for programming within North America. The Foundation also awards one-year Ignition Grants of up to $20,000 for ideas still in the research and planning stages or organizations that need to develop the appropriate capacity and expertise.
