DescriptionThe Foundation supports a broad spectrum of endeavors and philanthropic interests including medical research, the arts, law and order, community development and security, adequate and affordable housing, and education and job training. In addition, the Foundation also awards grants to protect and enhance the environment; promote the development of science, culture, and recreation; promote world peace and unity; encourage the long-term preservation and enhancement of the quality of life especially for families and children; and assist the disenfranchised of society. Grants also advance programs at private and state colleges and universities that are consistent with the Foundation’s charter and those that advance the mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis. Deadlines are Dec. 1, March 1, June 1, and September 1. A downloadable grant application is available on the Web site.
