Character Education Partnership

DescriptionEvery year the Partnership names approximately 10 public and private schools and K-12 districts as National Schools of Character for their outstanding work in character education. The NSOC award enables the winners to showcase their work, be exemplars to others, and facilitates their leadership in the field of character education. In addition to receiving a banner, an engraved award, national and local press coverage, winners receive a financial grant as high as $10,000. The amount of each grant depends upon the extensiveness of the winner’s outreach plans and whether it was submitted by a school or a school district.
