DescriptionThe Organization seeks to fund programs with specific faith-based components that are focused on at-risk children ages 0 to 12. The programs should further the Christian Organization’s mission; have specific measurable spiritual and academic outcomes; and serve as a model in their local community. The Organization defines “at-risk” children as those at a disadvantage academically, economically, socially, and/or spiritually. Grants are awarded to programs that combine two or more of these characteristics. The Organization will consider programs that address children with special needs; those who are behaviorally challenged; are affected by poverty, abuse and neglect; and failing in school. A special application form is available on the Web site. If the January 6 deadline falls on a weekend, the application is due the next business day.
