DescriptionThe Trust has two primary focus areas: religion and low-income adults. The Trust works in collaboration with national and regional denominational bodies to identify small churches in small communities in need of funding. The Trust makes project and capital grants to denominational bodies, which in turn take the money and divide it among small churches. Only organizations located in New York City that provide services to very low-income adults, including homeless adults qualify for the Trust’s low-income grants. The deadline for proposals is July 1st. JPMorgan Chase is the Trust’s sole trustee.
