DescriptionThe Foundation is dedicated to fostering awareness and appreciation of contemporary visual art, particularly through the support of catalogues and other publications that document exhibitions of work by emerging or under-recognized artists. Of particular interest are programs or projects that attempt to bring together artists and the community; those that support artists from marginalized populations; and those that provide exposure to contemporary art where it may not otherwise be seen. The Foundation has limited funds for publications related to the grantee organization and its programs or collections. Trustees review proposals for funding twice a year. Letters of inquiry no longer than one page are required before submitting a full proposal. Letters of inquiry are not accepted via fax or e-mail. Additional information is available on the Web site.
