DescriptionThe Foundation “proclaims the Glory of God” through its grantmaking. The Foundation’s funding interests are Bible colleges/seminaries, religious causes, medical concerns, liberal arts, and social concerns. Grants to Bible colleges/seminaries total about 33 percent of the Foundation’s grantmaking and grants to religious causes total about 30 percent. Liberal arts colleges receive 7 percent of the fund distribution while medical organizations receive 26 percent and social concerns get 4 percent. Priority in the liberal arts category is given to private colleges. The social concerns category encompasses secular community programs that provide direct services such as child welfare, vocational training, prison alternatives, and concerns for the aged and disabled. Through the social concerns category, the Foundation will also fund men, women, and families in crisis. Proposal information is available on the Web site.
