Description

The Foundation provides support to a wide variety of organizations located in the Pacific Northwest, specifically in the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, and British Columbia. Funding areas of interest are human rights, civic development, environmental protection and conservation, and the arts and humanities. The Foundation prefers projects with a deep and broad level of leadership and citizen participation. Their objective is to help fund the building of grassroots organizations with the power to change their communities and improve their lives. Small technical assistance grants (less than $1,500) are made throughout the year to assist organizations with training and skill development, expert consultation, leadership development, and networking. Letters of inquiry should be no longer than two pages. Additional information is available on the Web site.
