Description

The Foundation is dedicated to assisting the poor, primarily through operating and capital grants to direct service organizations located in Baltimore, Hawaii, Northeastern Pennsylvania, New York, Israel, and the former Soviet Union. These grants are focused on meeting basic needs such as shelter, nutrition, health, and socialization. Funded projects should emphasize enhancing an individual’s ability to meet those needs. Applicants must carry on their work principally to serve lower-income individuals in the communities where they reside and must be committed to assisting vulnerable and at-risk population. Letters of inquiry are usually reviewed weekly.
