The Trust is committed to funding radical change that will help make the world a better place. Its priorities are the creation of a peaceful world, political equality, and social justice. The Trust supports work primarily in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The Trust’s trustees are Quakers and decision-making and practice are based on Quaker values. The Trust does maintain an adventurous approach to funding. Grants are made in the following areas: peace, racial justice, power and responsibility, Quaker concerns, Ireland and Northern Ireland, and South Africa. Most grants for peace, racial justice, power and responsibility, and Quaker concerns are made in Britain. Applications may be submitted at any time. The deadline is for the South Africa and Ireland grants. The next deadline for the remaining programs is Sept. 3.
