Description

The clothing Company’s philanthropic efforts are focused on empowering America’s youth. The Company focuses its grantmaking on developing and supporting programs/partnerships that promote educational opportunities for diverse populations in the U.S. The Company is also committed to investing in health-related organizations and cultural programs that impact a diverse population of youth. Educational and cultural programs should target K-12 and college students; expose them to career opportunities; help them develop skills in new technologies; and leverage teacher/administrator, parental, and community involvement. They should also include hands-on program activities; lead to comprehensive, systemic change regionally or nationally; and involve collaborative partnerships. Those funded will have demonstrated the capacity to gain continuing support; have a broad and positive impact on diverse populations; and have an evaluation component with measurable results. Requests for health grants should come from medical centers/hospitals, health education programs, or innovative therapy programs. Applicants are asked to submit a three- to five-page proposal including a detailed budget. A separate cover letter summarizing the proposal request is also required.
