Description

The Foundation's Nike Community Impact Fund enables Nike employees to work with the Foundation to award at least $550,000 each year to nonprofits in the metropolitan Portland region, the northern Willamette Valley, and southwest Washington to give youth positive experiences in sports and physical activity and advance healthier, supportive, and more inclusive communities. Through the Fund, 75 percent of grant awards will support projects that promote sports or physical activity in the community, and 25 percent will support organizations and projects that address community challenges through innovative or proven community-based solutions. Grant recipients must be a Federally Recognized Indian Tribe or government entity such as a school and must serve at least one of the following 10 counties: Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Yamhill, Columbia, Linn, Benton, Marion, and Polk counties in Oregon and Clark County in Southwest Washington.
