Proposals are accepted from nonprofits in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, at scale, as quickly as possible. General operating and program/project grants are awarded for programs that include transforming the energy system, decarbonizing transportation and buildings, supporting working lands, and strengthening democratic participation.
