DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the original Schmidt Brothers Oil Company. The Foundation offers grants to help the disadvantaged, improve the quality of people's lives, and strengthen their communities. The Foundation considers requests that fulfill its mission within the following impact areas: Education, Jobs & Economy, Family Support & Social Connectedness, Physical Health, Psychological Health & Addiction, Human Services, and other needs. The Foundation will consider a broad range of requests including specific program needs, capital, or general operating support. Priority is given to programs that demonstrate long-term results for a substantial number of people; organizations with a clarity of mission and a strong focus on effective outcomes; those with financial stability and a high caliber of staff and board; and organizations with a broad base of funding support.
