Description

The Foundation was founded by the widow of the founder of Abney Mills. The Foundation's mission is to aid organizations that are operated exclusively for education, religious, charitable, scientific, and literary purposes. Priority is given to higher education organizations with 75 to 80 percent of the funding going to them. In addition to higher education, the Foundation's current focus is on funding innovative and creative projects and for programs which are responsive to changing community needs in the areas of education, health, social services, and cultural affairs.
