The Honorable Order Of Kentucky Colonels

DescriptionThe Order's primary objective is to support needy Kentucky charities and worthy organizations that stand ready to help all Kentuckians in having a boundless future. Members of the Order are nominated by the governor and are linked together through strength of character, leadership, and dedication to the welfare of others. Grants for the Order's Good Works Program are made in the following areas: community enhancement, historic preservation, education, life skills, homelessness, health and rehabilitation, services for veterans and military members, youth services, and services for low-income populations and people in crisis. The Order makes both large and small grants. Additional information including application instructions and guidelines can be found on the Web site.
