DescriptionNamed for the cofounder of Evapco Inc., an industry-leading manufacturing company of heat transfer applications, the Foundation provides grants to nonprofits to improve the quality of life and well-being of communities in Maryland and Utah. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking in five areas: health care, education, youth programs, veteran organizations, and human services. Maryland grants support nonprofits serving the state and surrounding areas, with a primary focus on Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Frederick County, and Howard County. Utah grants are awarded to nonprofits serving the state of Utah. Grants may be awarded for capital campaigns, special projects or programs, staffing, and general operations.
