Erie Community Foundation

DescriptionFounded by the co-founder of Boston Store, the Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life for all in the Erie, PA region by evaluating and addressing community issues, building permanent charitable endowments, and promoting philanthropic and community leadership. The Foundation's Helping Today Grant Program supports Erie County nonprofits by addressing the community's most immediate needs. The Program intentionally casts a wide net, but prioritizes projects that address health, the economy, and education. The Program may support (but is not limited to) operations, programming, planning, marketing/community awareness, capital purchases (including technology and vehicles), facilities improvement, and evaluation.
