Description

The Trust was created by the first banker in Leadville, Colo. The Trust supports a wide range of nonprofits that benefit the citizens of Colorado. Grants are awarded to nonprofits offering community and human services to those in need, including the disabled, youth, seniors, and the indigents. Applying organizations must have been operating as a 501(c)3 organization for at least three years. Organizations must be located within the state of Colorado and benefit Colorado residents. The Trust does not fund organizations that provide multi-state, national, or international services. Preference is given to small organizations in rural or underserved communities throughout the state. Application instructions and some additional information can be found on the Web site.
