DescriptionSince 1971, the Foundation has provided artists, emerging arts organizations, arts administrators, and students with critical support, professional development tools, and resources for defining and achieving career success. The Foundation's Artist Fellowship Program provides unrestricted cash grants to artists living in New York State and/or one of the Indian Nations. Eligible applicants must be 25 and older, be residents of New York State and/or one of the Indian Nations located in New York State and have maintained residency for the last two consecutive years. The supported categories change from year to year. For 2024, the categories are: architecture/environmental structures/design; choreography; music/sound; photography; and playwriting/screenwriting.
