Description

Named for the founder of the Lands' End clothing Retailer, the Foundation focuses its grantmaking on programs that support comprehensive harm reduction for people who use drugs. Support is provided to programs that provide free sterile syringes, education, and community wraparound services to reduce opioid overdoes and the transmission of HIV and viral hepatitis. Qualifying organizations must have total organizational budgets of $600,000 or less; must be grounded in harm reduction principles and practices that provide access to steril syringes, safer smoking, and snorting kits; and have had harm reduction syringe service programs in operation for one full year.
