DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Connecticut-based financial institution. The Foundation awards Community Grants to respond to local community needs throughout the 64 towns they serve in Connecticut. Grants are primarily awarded for direct service needs and requests should not include capital purchases such as computers or space renovations. Select requests for essential capital equipment may be considered but the Foundation requests an advance phone call before applying. Grants are awarded in the following areas: education, human services, and arts and culture. Additional information including application instructions can be found on the Web site.
