Reva And David Logan Foundation
Category: International
DescriptionThis Chicago-based Foundation provides strategic grants to support social justice, the arts, and investigative journalism both in Chicago and around the world. Social Justice grants are awarded in six areas: housing, food security, youth/education, incarceration, mental health, and health equity. Arts grants support individuals and organizations that use the creative process as a tool for liberation, social change, conveying information and fact, and as nonviolent protest. Investigative journalism grants support the cultivation of the investigative impulse through inspired teaching, workshops, and symposiums, proactive involvement of the public as partners in the journalistic process, and experimentation with form and delivery. Grant decisions are based on the following key qualities: Originality, Potential (Impact), Feasibility, Capacity, and Engagement and Continuity. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
