Description

The Trust makes grants to organizations based in or benefiting the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. The Trust works to increase opportunities for individuals for the purpose of improvement and development of their capabilities; provide relief of the poor, distressed, and underprivileged; promote social welfare by organizations designed to accomplish any of the above purposes or to lessen neighborhood tensions; to enhance opportunities for education about the arts and about the environment; to defend civil rights secured by law; and to eliminate prejudice and discrimination. The Trust only accepts applications through its Web-based proposal submission portal. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
