Description

The Foundation, named for the Star Trek film director Gene Roddenberry, offers small grants to early-stage, innovative, and unconventional ideas that address pressing global challenges. Through its Catalyst Fund, the Foundation awards grants in three areas: Early Stage, Big Ideas, and Bold Vision. Early Stage grants are geared toward small and/or early stage ideas and projects that need a capital infusion to launch or prove viability. Big Ideas grants support big ideas or projects that depart from the status quo and require us to look at a problem and its solution in a new light. Bod Vision grants support individuals whose vision for change is audacious. Eligible applicants must be 18 years or older and complete responses to all required application questions. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
