Description

Named for the late governor of Arkansas, the Foundation works to create an Arkansas that works for everyone. The Foundation's strategic direction is equity, envisioning an equitable Arkansas where all citizens can earn a livable wage, get a quality education, and build generational wealth. The Foundation funds three bold goals: Economic Equity, Educational Equity, and Social, Ethnic, and Racial Equity. The Foundation awards general operating support, grants for policy, advocacy, and organizing; grants that change the narrative, and program and mission-related investments. Grants and program-related investments are limited to initiatives that directly or significantly impact the state of Arkansas, and are primarily provided to organizations located in Arkansas. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
