Category

: Health

Description

The Foundation is a catalyst for positive change in the lives of those living with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Named for an heir of a St. Louis-based department store, the Foundation's mission is to award grants to organizations and institutions doing work that will have a tangible impact on the field of mental health. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on five segments where it believes that funding will make the biggest difference for actual people suffering from schizophrenia. The five segments that the Foundation funds are: education, criminal justice, reintegration, clinical research, and social support. The application process starts by completing a letter of intent. Visit the Web site to learn more and for application instructions.
