DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Minnesota-based law firm. It is committed to supporting charitable causes in the communities where the attorneys live and work. Funded by the firm's partners, the Foundation supports a wide variety of organizations, programs, and projects that contribute to the cultural, civic, educational, and social welfare of communities, with particular emphasis on organizations that provide legal services to the disadvantaged and organizations in which Dorsey partners and other attorneys participate actively as board members and volunteers. Special consideration is given to established arts, cultural, legal, and community services organizations in which the attorneys serve as board members or officers, and to which they contribute a significant amount of time and personal financial support.
