The Foundation brings together energetic organizations, committed to developing new ways to solve communities' persistent challenges. Grant programs focus on three areas: arts and culture, education, and Jewish life. Arts grants support institutions whose primary objective is to advance arts and culture through empowering creative expression that contributes to the health and vibrancy of the community. Education grants support institutions that use innovative approaches, collaborate between partners and the communities they serve, and those committed to elevating the educational experience of students in the Rochester, NY area. Jewish life grants support every Jewish school, social agency, and synagogue in Monroe and Ontario counties in New York as well as select programs in Israel. Prospective applicants do not need to be physically located in the Rochester NY area to be considered for a grant, but the intended beneficiaries of the grant must be in the Rochester, NY area.
