Description

The Foundation continues the legacy of the late owner of the NFL Buffalo Bills football team. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking in four areas: Active Lifestyles, Preparing for Success, Caregivers, and Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. Active Lifestyle grants support access to safe spaces and programs that get kids physically active and moving through the Foundation?s Youth Sports and Recreation grantmaking. Preparing for Success grants are centered on providing the communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills that people need to grow and adapt throughout their life and career. Caregiver grants aim to elevate caregivers? critical roles by highlighting the often-hidden value and contributions they make to families and communities every day. Entrepreneurship and Economic Development grants seek to spur small business growth, place-based community and economic development, and talent attraction and retention in Southeast Michigan and Western New York. Grants are awarded in the counties of Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne in Michigan and Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming in New York.
