Incarnate Word Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, promotes efforts in the St. Louis, Mo., community to empower the poor and marginalized, especially women, children, and seniors, to attain quality of life. The Foundation approaches its funding philosophy that's rooted in the values of the order of sisters: incarnational spirituality, innovation, empowerment, stewardship, and collaboration. The Foundation awards general operating support grants. Consideration is given to applicants from the St. Louis region including St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and East St. Louis.
