DescriptionThe Trust focuses its grantmaking on organizations that strive to achieve a lasting difference in the lives of the people they serve. The Trust also supports organizations working to effect positive change at the individual, family, and community levels, and those engaged in systems and policy improvement on behalf of its focus populations. Grants are awarded in four focus areas: Adults and Transitioning Youth with Disabilities, Elders, Foster Youth, and Veterans and Military Families. Priority is given to organizations that promote the dignity, agency, and self-sufficiency of individuals within its focus populations, and that strive to achieve a lasting difference in the lives of the people they serve. The Trust supports organizations serving people in the Western United States, defined as: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming as well as in British Columbia, Canada. instructions and additional information can be found on the Web site.
