Description

The Foundation's mission is to support educational opportunities, improve access to health services, and promote environmental stewardship. Education grants seek to strengthen teaching quality and classroom outcomes by investing in the development of new and veteran educators with an emphasis on innovative practices and the delivery of a 21st Century education. The Foundation will place priority on projects with potential for scaling and replicating. Environmental grants support the conservation of the Georgia coast and the longleaf pine ecosystem. Through its health grants the Foundation seeks to expand access to basic health services (primary, behavioral, oral, and vision). It will prioritize capacity building investments to improve maternal and child health and child and adolescent mental health across the state of Georgia. While the Foundation tends to fund primarily in the metro Atlanta region, inquiries are welcome from all parts of Georgia. Potential applicants are asked to review the Web site and then contact the office prior to being invited to submit a letter of inquiry. Visit the Web site to learn more.
