Description

The Foundation's Ko'olau Pilina Fund supports projects specifically tailored to Ko'olau communities on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The Fund's goal is to rapidly respond to COVID-related issues in the region. The Fund follows a participatory approach to grantmaking in which a committee made up of Ko'olau community members will vet proposals through an open, rolling application process. Priorities include family strengthening, 'aina, farming, and food security, health and health care, and education and learning. The Fund's grantmaking committee will assess proposals for funding through December 20022. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
