Description

The Foundation is a supporting foundation of the Columbus Foundation that aims to enhance the quality of life in the Miami County, Ohio, area. Grants are awarded in support of programs that provide social services, education, health, urban affairs, and arts services to children, young adults, and families primarily in the Miami County, Ohio area. Priority will be given to applications that yield substantial benefits to the community; are innovative in their approach to community improvement; address current and critical needs; support program expansion to meet growing community needs; promote cooperation among agencies; and encourage matching gifts or additional funding from other donors. Generally, the Foundation will not make grants for religious purposes, budget deficits, staff positions, or projects that are normally the responsibility of a public agency.
