The Foundations focus their primary grantmaking efforts on five areas: private higher education; secondary education; religion, specifically graduate theological education; health care, and public television. All proposals must come from the president or other primary executive of an institution, not from the development office, department heads, or individual researchers within an institution. Proposals from higher education and religious organizations should include an applicant statement regarding the project’s priority. There are no deadlines and proposals may be submitted at any time.
